Die Fabrik Chemnitz - a modern microcosm for work and life

With “Die Fabrik”, Chemnitz has gained a new creative hotspot that combines history and the future and offers 9,500 square meters of space for innovation and encounters. In the former grinding machine factory, a microcosm has been created that reinterprets the working space. Workplaces, living spaces and leisure facilities merge here - from offices and apartments to a bakery, a fitness studio and a basketball court on the roof.

Studio Aisslinger was responsible for the interior design and created a space that combines Chemnitz with international standards. We at Entenza were part of the interior design collective and supported the project with our expertise and provision of furnishings.
