Funke Medienhaus Essen

Every day, stories that move millions of people are created at the headquarters of the FUNKE Media Group in Essen. Together with Kinzo Berlin, we had the honour of co-designing the interior architecture of this urban ensemble - a project that goes far beyond classic interior design.

Our contribution is reflected in the delivery of customised solutions that harmonise architecture and use: A reception counter in the foyer welcomes guests with a clear stance. Individually designed themed kitchens create spaces for encounters and dialogue. The kiosk and exhibition furniture made of HI-MACS® solid surface combine flowing forms with durable quality. Printer stations, cloakrooms and high tables structure everyday life invisibly but noticeably. In the management and executive kitchens, the highest precision in design and function is visible.

Every element reflects our aspiration: to furnish spaces and thus create places that inspire, connect and reflect the character of the people and brands that use them.
