Engelplatz in the heart of Jena, known for the KulturArena and the reconstructed Carmelite monastery, is a central point of interest. Now, the previously unused area has been transformed into a new, modern building for the Ernst-Abbe-Bücherei and the Citizen Services. The client for the project is JenaKultur, and the architectural design was created by pbr Planungsbüro Rohling AG, Jena. Our services included the furnishing of the entrance area, the salon, and the lounge areas, as well as the conference rooms, the children’s library, the administration, the learning center, the art library, and the non-fiction section. Furthermore, we took over the furnishing of the learning workshop and the event room and supplied specialized sound chairs. This interior design combines functionality and aesthetic standards to create an inviting and inspiring environment for visitors and employees alike.
