With “The Fabrik”, Chemnitz has gained a new creative hotspot that unites history and the future and offers 9,500 square metres of space for innovation and connection. A microcosm has emerged in the former grinding machine factory, reinterpreting the workplace. Workspaces, living spaces and leisure offerings merge here – from offices and apartments to a bakery and a gym, all the way to a basketball court on the roof.
Studio Aisslinger was responsible for the interior design and created a space that connects Chemnitz with international ambition. At Entenza, we were part of the collective in the area of interior fit-out and supported the project with our expertise and by providing the furnishings.
