Sächsische Aufbaubank, Leipzig
Under the motto "The Future Needs Change," the new building of the Saxon Development Bank – Förderbank – (SAB) in Leipzig was officially opened. Designed by the London-based architecture firm ACME, the complex is particularly striking due to its forum, a publicly accessible space with 159 columns. The administrative building houses up to 500 workstations, which play a significant role. The theme of New Work and its infrastructure was developed in collaboration with the company and implemented for its employees. "As a workplace for the bank’s employees, the building sets new standards for work environments in the 21st century: Various room situations with high quality of stay offer opportunities for both communicative exchange and focused retreat" (Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Philipp Oswalt, 2021).
The overall concept, consisting of office areas, conference rooms, think tanks, a cafeteria, executive areas, lounges, custom-built consultant cubes, and acoustically effective wall cladding, was implemented by us.
