Leubinger Fürstenhügel Fuel and Rest Area

By linking the significant history of the location, architecture and landscape enter into a dialogue characterized by understated design and clarity – offering the traveler an atmosphere of calm and rest, providing a counterbalance to the dynamic nature of the highway, while also stepping back in relation to the historic Fürstenhügel, the namesake and protagonist of this place. The material concept for the building focused on a few, durable building materials such as metal, wood, and concrete, presenting the visitor with a natural surface both inside and outside, offering an appealing look and tactile feel. In collaboration with MONO Architects, we were able to create the desired high-quality experience in a peaceful environment for the guests through the careful selection of furniture.
