19. May 2026 | News from Entenza Three days at the Vitra Campus: Kick-off of the trainee program

This year, we are participating in Vitra’s one-year trainee program. The kick-off in Weil am Rhein demonstrated how valuable knowledge, exchange, and lived design are for our work.

Over three intensive days, participants gained insights into the history of the Vitra family business, design classics by Charles and Ray Eames, as well as production, the test center, and material worlds surrounding fabrics and leather. In group workshops, universally applicable chairs for the office and home office were examined and their functions further explored.

The Vitra Campus became a place where architecture, product design, and work environments intersect. The guided tour of the grounds, featuring buildings by internationally influential architects, highlighted the strong connection between space, attitude, and usage.

The second day focused on the Artek brand, office swivel chairs in a home office context, pCon, and initial insights into upcoming product innovations. The VitraHaus then demonstrated how presentation, atmosphere, and product understanding can work together.

The third day was dedicated to Vitra’s sofa portfolio and a collective reflection on the training days. For us, this kick-off provided a valuable impulse to further deepen our knowledge and sharpen our perspectives on modern living and working spaces.

We look forward to the next training sessions and the further development of our trainees. Because good design is created where experience, curiosity, and responsibility come together. Many thanks to Vitra for three insightful days in Weil am Rhein.
