MotionLab.Berlin is a Hardtech Innovation Hub in the heart of Berlin, which has established itself as an emerging hub for creative minds and innovative companies. Here, tinkerers, engineers, entrepreneurs, founders, and creatives find a dynamic environment where new concepts, ideas, innovations, and dreams can flourish.
Members of the co-working community have access to workshops, events, machinery, and everything they need to realize their ideas and unleash their full potential. We are proud to be part of this project and to contribute our expertise to the creation of working and living spaces that align with the principles of New Work. Through a collaborative exchange, we gained insight into how the company operates and what goals should be achieved with the workspaces.
Design and Furnishings
The premises of MotionLab.Berlin were designed with young startups in mind, to foster fun and active exchange among them, and to collectively drive developments and innovations. The goal is to encourage people to leave their home offices and enable personal interaction. The spaces offer a modern working atmosphere that can be individually adapted for everyone, depending on the situation and task.
The design of the premises is characterized by an industrial look that is timeless and clear in its lines. Smaller open spaces alternate with open meeting areas, such as the custom-made wooden grandstand. Flexible and colorful room solutions define the New Work approach and are reflected in the small seating poufs and foldable tables that quickly transform into whiteboards. Meeting rooms are available in three different categories. The “Cosy Meeting Room” offers retreat and relaxation with comfortable armchairs and inspiring colors. In the “Scrum Session Meeting Room,” active brainstorming and idea generation can take place. The “Classy Meeting Room,” on the other hand, provides privacy for confidential discussions and negotiations.
However, MotionLab.Berlin is not just a place for work. We believe that fun and team spirit are just as important as productive work. That’s why a special meeting point for the community was created: the indoor table tennis meeting table. Here, the community gathers not only to exchange innovative ideas but also to engage in sporting duels and strengthen team spirit. Because we firmly believe that a positive atmosphere is essential to get the best out of oneself and one’s projects.
