Under the motto “The future needs change”, the new building of the Saxon Development Bank – Promotional Bank – (SAB) in Leipzig was officially opened. The ensemble designed by the London-based architecture firm ACME stands out in particular for its forum—an publicly accessible square—with 159 columns. The administrative building accommodates up to 500 workstations, which play an important role. The New Work concept and its infrastructure were developed together with the company and implemented for its employees. “As a workplace for the bank’s employees, the building sets new standards for working environments in the 21st century: Various spatial settings with a high quality of stay offer equal opportunities for communicative exchange and focused retreat” (Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Philipp Oswalt, 2021).

The overall concept—comprising office areas, conference rooms, think tanks, canteen, executive area, lounge, custom-made consultant cubes, and acoustically effective wall cladding—was implemented by us.
